Eartheart is about love for our Planet, the authentic meaning of the concept of respect, and the memory and future of the place where everything began. Today, more than 60% of textile products are made from synthetic fibres containing non-biodegradable plastic, and this has a huge environmental impact on our Earth.We asked ourselves the question: how can we continue to create products combining beauty and performance while reducing this impact to the lowest possible level?
Synthetic microfibres are the main form of pollution due to microplastics, a problem affecting the marine and earth environment.
Up to 18 million microfibres can be released during each washing cycle.
The annual amount of synthetic microfibres in the oceans is equal to the weight of more than 50 billion plastic bottles.
The composition of fabrics is 60% synthetic: the main component is polyester, whose amount is more than 60 million tons per year.
